Join us in an unforgettable experience exploring the beauty of Dominican vegetation and fauna. Take a breath of fresh air while exploring a tropical forest through the paths of “Padre Nuestro”. Located in our Eastern National Park, between rocky cliffs forming the Savila Valley, you will discover more than 575 species of vegetation to form lush tropical forests; more than 120 species of fauna, 40 endemic to the area; crystal clear springs and taverns.
You will not only discover our fauna and vegetation but also be able to appreciate petroglyphs within the taverns and springs made by natives to warship their gods, who believed this area extremely magical and spiritual. The trails are also an example of how, by working with the community, the environment can be protected and enjoyed.
A walk through these trails is truly an emotionally charged experience, come and fully enjoy the rich natural and cultural heritage of the region.
The eco-walk will depart at 9:45am from Casa de Campo lobby and will be returning at 12:00pm where you will be able to have lunch at the restaurant of your choice within the Casa de Campo Resort.
