Jarabacoa Tour: Rafting River or Jimenoa Waterfall
Jarabacoa is known for its steady 16C to 22C degree temperature all year round, though in winter it can be as low as 7C. Visitors have baptized Jarabacoa as "The City of Everlasting Spring." Jarabacoa sits about 525 m above sea level. One of the main touristic attractions is the mountains and natural beauty of the area due to its location in the center of the Cordillera Central. It is also one of the main access to the Pico Duarte and the Ebano Verde Cientific Reserve. Jarabacoa has three large rivers, Baiguate, Jimenoa and the Yaque del Norte, the last two merge in the Confluencia, continuing on as the Yaque del Norte, the second largest rivers in the country.

Note:
In order to be eligible for the raft ride, you must know how to swim, be over 12 years old and in perfect health, mental and good physical condition. Departure time from the Hodelpa Gran Almirante Hotel will be 40 minutes before the tour begins and rafting time will last approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.
JIMENOA WATERFALL TOUR
Ride by jeep or horse to the Jimenoa Waterfall, a 35mts. fall. Walk on hanging bridges to reach the heart of the fall and enjoy the view. The ride will take you through places where you will enjoy the beauty of our landscape.
The following is included:
- Waterfall visit in jeep or horse

Note:
- Departure time from the Hodelpa Gran Almirante Hotel will be 40 minutes before the tour begins
- Excursion time will last approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes
- Swimming in the waterfall is not allowed
- A walk through suspension bridges is necessary to get to the Jimenoa waterfall
- Disabled people are not permitted in this tour
